Abisko and the surrounding area offer a wide range of activities in both winter and summer, from dog sledding and Northern Lights trips to hiking and mountain biking. Being located in the wilderness means that many of the activities are based outside in the beautiful mountains or on the stunning lake Torneträsk.

During the Autumn months of September to November there is a wide range of exciting activities on offer in Abisko; hiking into the mountains, fishing and mountain biking to name but a few.

During the winter a wide range of activities are available, all making the most of the snow or clear night skies. Some of the favorites are Northern Lights watching and photography trips, dog sledding in Abisko National Park or snowmobiling into the mountains. A short trip away is the world-famous ICEHOTEL where you can spend the day looking round the amazing Ice Church and Ice Bar, or for those feeling a little braver a stay overnight in a snow or ice room!
