Activities

Abisko and its surroundings offer a wide range of things to do in Swedish Lapland throughout the year, from snowmobiling and northern lights tours to hiking and ice fishing. Being in the wilderness means that many of the activities start from outside in the beautiful mountains or at the fantastic lake Torneträsk.

During the winter you can experience the magical northern lights or the thrill of a snowmobile ride, in the spring the ski slopes and cross-country skiing. Summer offers hiking and wild camping, while autumn colors provide a fantastic backdrop for exploring the area.
